You can comment on whatever you can see. Most of the forums are hidden from you unless you've applied and been accepted.Vozw wrote:This is hilarious...
Wait, am I supposed to go through the same application process before commenting on anything? o.o

I can see where he made his mistakes but honestly he just seems like a younger kid who got to excited over joining the back room and then you just smash that, then humiliate him.

Brought it on himself. The first responses were not impolite, it could have been left there

Agreed, though he really humiliated himself. The BRs simply explained why he was denied, then he flipped.
In other news this is hysterical.

For future application.
For future applicates here's a tip:
When we ask to be really detailed, we're expecting something written nearly like an essay with a evalution of what we asked supported with valid information. This is especially important to do this with Match-Up and Tier-Placement questions. They're so much you could express in those type of questions.
And it really erks me when people don't put a lot of effort in the starting questions. It gives us nothing to judge you as a player. When you put down really generic information, it makes you sound no better than the average player, which is somethng we're not looking for.
Prove to us you're better than average and not just another casual player. Prove that you truly understand and have knowledge about this game you're playing.

We aren't looking for good players though. All our members could be super lousy and it wouldn't make a (significant) difference.
Though being good at the game usually helps, understanding the game and applying that understanding to intelligent discussion and analysis is what we're really looking for.

Sorry, I wasn't talking about skill-level. I meant competitive knowledge and understanding of how the game works.
Displaying a great intelligence of how Smash Bros. and SSF2 work at a competitive-level makes you more likely to be accepted into the SFBR; regardless of your skill-level in gameplay.
